Multicultural society

The term 'nationality' means nacionalnost.

The word 'conflict' means 'sukob'.

If people of different nationalities, religions and races all live together in one town that town is multicultural.

When a society is 'multicultural' that means it has multiple different cultures (više različitih kultura) in it.

The term 'multicultural' means multikulturalan.

The term 'discrimination' means diskriminacija.

Somebody can be part of a culture (biti dio kulture) that is different from their nationality.

The term 'tolarance' means tolerancija.

If you move to live in another country, that means you are an immigrant (imigrant).

The terms 'nationality' and 'culture' don't mean the same thing.

Being tolerant means you respect (poštuješ) people different from you.

The term 'society' means društvo.

If you say you are CAmerican that is your nationality.

When you 'stand up for' (zauzmeš se za) something or someone that means you defend them.

Inequality' means 'nejednakost'.
