Present continuous - niječni oblik

negative + signal word = radnja se NE događa sada

Prisjeti se! → Now, at the moment, today, this week itd.

• I'm not working today.

• She isn't sitting on the chair at the moment.

• They aren't studying right now.

→ osoba + am/is/are + NOT + glagol + ing + ostatak (što? /mjesto/vrijeme)

• osoba = tko (I, you, he, she, it, we, they…..Mary, John, teacher, parents, cat, friends, girls, itd.)

• am/is/are = „to be“ = pomoćni glagol

• not = ne

• glagol + ing = radnja

Primjer

• I am not reading a book now. (I'm not…)

• He is not sleeping in his room. (He isn't…)

• They are not watching tv at the moment. (They aren't…)

Primjer

• I am not watching tv. → Ja ne gledam tv.

• She is not playing the piano. → Ona ne svira klavir.

• They are not working. → Oni ne rade.

Niječni oblik → tvorimo dodavanjem riječ NOT na pomoćnom glagolu

Pravilo: osoba + am/ is / are + not + glagol + ing

am not = 'm not

is not = isn't

are not = aren't

• I'm not reading a book now. → Ja ne čitam knjigu sada.

• She isn't sleeping at the moment. → Ona ne spava trenutno.

• They aren't working today. → Oni ne rade danas.
